Everday Self-Care Body Oil [4oz]
This panacea is inspired by a traditional Ayurvedic tailam and uses 32 botanical allies to create a restorative body oil that nourishes skin, soothes the nervous system, keeps muscles and joints supple, and has an overall strengthening and toning quality promoting general well-being.
Massage liberally into skin after shower or bath. Can be used on face and hair. The best way to use this oil is warmed: pour out a small amount into a glass that can be placed within another container of hot water or just place the glass bottle into a container with hot water. Be careful not to get any water into the oil as that will cause it to mold.
Ingredients: sesame oil*, olive oil*, coconut oil*, anantamul*, ashwagandha*, bacopa*, bala*, brahmi*, calendula*, comfrey*, cinnamon*, dashmula*, ginger*, guduchi*, lavender*, licorice*, manjistha*, mustha*, neem*, peppermint*, plantain*, rose*, rosemary*, shatavari*, tulsi*. turmeric*, vidanga*, Essential oils of rose geranium, lavender, lemon, cypress, sage. * organic.
My process of making body oils spans several days using a combination of traditional ayurvedic techniques and an alcohol intermediary method to get the most potent extraction of beneficial constituents. Infusing botanical oils is a magical process that often includes singing to the plants and infusing with blessings both for the spirit of the plants themselves and also for you.
